I don't think adding "(genre)" is helpful because I don't think it's clear that it should be read as "this English gloss mainly applies to the genre dealing with works taking place in another world" but will instead be interpreted as "異世界 refers to a genre". I'm sure opencooper is correct but I'm assuming "isekai" can have both meanings in English i.e. 1) genre dealing w 異世界, 2) 異世界, and since it's at the bottom of the list, I think this entry is probably fine as-is. |
