Just encountered:
隠密の手段として... = as a means of stealth.

This certainly seems to have a strictly noun sense available, basically "stealth as a concept". Granted it is uncommon by comparison to [1] and [3]. I'd hate to throw away all of the adj glosses just because this can be a noun though.

Skimming through yourei, it's surprising just how common [3] actually is among the 1700+ matches.

Saw this in a context where none of the current glosses could work.
魔力の制御による存在の隠匿など、君だけの才覚というわけではない = "You're not the only one who knows how to conceal her presence using mana".

i.e. literally "you're not the only one with theses 才覚s".
you're not the only one with the power to...
you're not the only one with a knack for...

reverse gave a lot of "talent" examples. eijiro gives "knack" (which also occasionally appears on reverso) and *powers* which would fit perfectly in the context I found it. "power" singular is problematic. I'm imagining something like "powers of persuasion" (though in this case singular also works in English). singular-"power" seems more ambiguous to me...

I couldn't find any evidence of "slip down" being used in
this sense in English on google ("slip" by itself seems to
refer to a kind of punch though).
Couldn't find specific term for it either but it's described
here: "Slipping or falling is not considered a knockdown,
but a boxer who has slipped or fallen still cannot be hit
while down."

Subtitled with katakana ナメ, consistent with the discussion that forked this entry off of 舐める.

Having "to underestimate" under [1] at the end of a long list has a couple of shortcomings:
1. This particular list really looks like it is trying to apply to people
2. At the end of the list, "underestimate" looks like a context-dependent niche possibility, rather than a primary sense.

No one is talking about "looking down on", "making fun of", "putting down" or "mistreating" a mountain, I don't think.(refs)

  Comments:
I encountered a noun usage of 隠密 (隠密の手段として), comments at 隠密. While looking at yourei and various references, I found that 隠密性 was a far more common structure for noun use. "stealthiness", as it were. We have plenty of ~性 entries where appropriate, I think this is a useful one.

隠密 in literature, especially historic literature, seems to often be of the "secret agent" variety. This term is clean and unambiguous.

隠密 also seems to be "stealth" as a concept. so 隠密性の高い is possible, but 隠密の高い is not.

There seems to be some recent "assasin"-type video games that translate "concealment" as a weapon attribute into 隠密性. The instagram ref describes an origami dinosaur being stealthy when hunting using "concealment". Google translate of the same passage opts for "stealth".

This is a formal/literary/arch variant of the causative of 取る->取らせる, which of course we don't have and can't xref. Used 与える as clues for a potential gloss, but maybe other terms would be more appropriate.

I recently saw a similar [note] on the entry for せん: "equiv. of しない".

I confirmed the senses. I personally would have only hid 「曲がりや」, but fine if other editors are okay with this approach.

We currently have this term merged with 閉ざす (entry 1508540) and tagged as [rK]. I think this is a little messy, so I'm proposing a split.

Hmm. I dropped the proposed "600族" entry because it wasn't a proper noun, but neither is "hobbit." Maybe it would have been okay if tagged as [fict].
