Daijr describes パプリカ as "ピーマンの一種"
but the ピーマン sold in the supermarket are actually quite different from what's sold as パプリカ in Japan. It's not just them being
green, they're also smaller and more thin-walled. The taste is more bitter also (not just compared to the riper yellow/red/orange
peppers but to green ones sold as パプリカ as well). I think they're a different cultivar or something.

I must point out that this entry is very confusing to a non-native speaker of English, because it is not clear which of these tooth-related glosses is a metaphor and which is literal. Would there be a non-tooth-related gloss available somewhere?

Also worth pointing out that there is the word きざ appearing in most Japanese definitions which is not apparent in this entry.

心当たりありそうですね. Trans: you seem to have an inkling of what it might be

So I went to look for "inkling" support and found some.

This is a tricky term, but we do have separate entries for 心当たりのない, 心当たりがある, and 心当たりがない which help

For what it's worth, I'm making "inkling" the main term for my flashcard. This is the only term given by wiktionary.

心当たりの方 seems like a less common variant of 心当たりのある方, I think [adj-no] should probably go.

Sense [2]
Context: a dragons nest: 魔力のこもったものを営巣の材料にする
translated as "objects infused with magic"

In [3], the subject is the thing doing the filling (hence our placeholder of "the room").
It would seem that it is the same in [2]. If the subject is the "emotion/enthusiasm/etc.", it seems inconsistent to structure this as "to be filled with". This suggests something like 手紙が愛情にこもった.

I added an [oft] note which I think clarifies what's going on. Maybe that and the xref are enough to clear up what is happening.

Now that I look at it, [3] really has the same problem. "to be heavy with", "to be stuffy", "to be dense" (should this be "to be dense with...smoke, etc."?).

For purely practical reasons, maybe a dedicated entry for こもった makes sense? I found two [expr] here that use it(and xref'd them), but if you find こもった in the wild you have to be able to turn it back to a verb to find this entry, and it seems like ~のこもった is a pretty common and useful structure. The sankoku examples use this structure (意味が~、心のこもったおくりもの)

I included もの in the [note] the way I would include [something] in an English gloss as a placeholder for any noun.... This seems clearer to me with than without, but that's just my take.

Encountered as ぶちギレてます in very recent subtitles. A few extra comments at related ブチ切れ entry. I don't feel terribly strongly about these either way, but it's a notable hiragana/katakana combo.

Somewhat more unusual... on the noun form, ぎ beats き consistently. Here it's the other way around? hum. ギ is the form I just encountered, and ぎ is the form in sankoku. I wonder if this represents a recent historical shift...
