As this is a first edit, I am not fully sure of the syntax/formatting needed (even after reading the quick overview). However, I have added three (of many) sites that define the word as a cursed item/object, seperately from the original definition of fetish. "to enfeoff" now holds the record for most-obscure-English I've learned here.

Maybe you'll have better wording.  I think technically "to enfeoff" is not as specific as this term, but I did find "enfeoff" in English-language treatments of historical Japan.
