As this is a first edit, I am not fully sure of the syntax/formatting needed (even after reading the quick overview). However, I have added three (of many) sites that define the word as a cursed item/object, seperately from the original definition of fetish. Reorder glosses to match 鬨。

There is definitely a nuance difference between 鬨の声 and 雄叫び.  The latter seems applicable to a single person (or a group), while this term seems to me a team effort. (soldiers on a battlefield, a whole office full of workers).  Not [hist], though image search does give battlefield imagery which makes it look more dated.

I retract part of my previous edit.  I don't think 鬨の声 is a great translation of "battle cry" in the most common sense, even though it's a gloss there. If you are looking for "battle cry" in E->J and found this, I think this (or 鬨の声, or maybe 喊声) is probably what you want.

My only concern is that アンカーリング may more often be アンカー + リング than an alternative spelling of アンカリング. That being said, it's not a particularly common form so it's unlikely to cause many problems. I'll remerge as suggested (minus アンカー・リング).

Probably best to put these forms into 2831059 as [sk] and drop this entry.

Just noting that daijirin has a 〔アンカーリングとも〕 note on its golf sense for アンカリング.

I was wondering how to work in the two pieces but maybe that's not necessary.

By "kokugos" I meant this word is in every kokugo I have access to.

The "turtle shell" remark is in meikyo, daijr/s, and koj. It's probably not strictly necessary to include but it helps explain where 亀 came from.
