I don't believe [adj-no] is correct. パラメータの is understandably common, but as "the degree of the parameter", "the value of the parameter", "the scale of the parameter", "the name of the parameter", etc. I don't see what adjective this would be.

Prime Minister of Japan 1918-1921

Hara was the first commoner and first Christian appointed to be Prime Minister of Japan, informally known as Hara Kei, and given the moniker of "commoner prime minister" (平民宰相, heimin saishō).
  Comments:
Might want to remove [news1].

Probably not [hist] or [dated], but I sense it's got some of that nuance.

Google search( ~500 reported results, largely historical in nature):
"宰相" site:mainichi.jp
vs. (~4,300,000 reported, endless at least)
"首相" site:mainichi.jp

I'm not quite sure how this got [news1], as I don't know who might have been using this title in the late 90s. Google search of mainichi.jp today doesn't return nearly enough to justify this.

総理 と 総理大臣 と 宰相 はどう違いますか

「総理」は「総理大臣」の略です。
「宰相」も「総理大臣」の意味ですが、あまり使われません。 <<---- 宰相 not used so much
「宰相」の元々の意味は中国の政治のトップの意味のようです。

"common" as this term may be, it seems to mostly be of historical use and dwarfed by modern equivalents. The wikipedia page says it "can" be used as a nickname for the Japanese prime minister. I am sure this is true, occasionally...

I sense a little incredulity in the English wikipedia entry:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prime_Minister_of_Japan
is known in Japanese as Naikaku Sōri-Daijin (内閣総理大臣) whenever he is referred to as the head of the Cabinet. However, this title is usually abbreviated to Sōri-Daijin (総理大臣). Other abbreviations include Sōri (総理), Shushō (首相) or even Saishō (宰相).[5]

  Comments:
Note: sense[1] is nearly 50% verbal, possibly higher. (after subtracting ngrams for 主宰者 and 主宰の, plus some cases of [2] without 者).

eijiro has one verbal gloss: "preside". "presided/presiding/presides over" are the most common reverso glosses.

superintendence seems unnatural to me outside of a school context(though I know it has other uses), and I can't imagine preferring something like "the dance school superintended by...". superintend/superintendence never appear on reverso for this term. "chairman"/"chairperson" appears (rarely), "chairmanship" does not.

主宰 can mean "leader", but it seems like 主宰者 is probably more common:
主宰者は	23649	76.8%
主宰は	7160	23.2%
主宰者に	8487	61.5%
主宰に	5310	38.5%

There is an odd suffix pattern that shows up in the ngrams for 主宰の
主宰の	121912
主宰の結婚相談所	5570
主宰の劇団	2390
主宰の教室	2066
主宰の自主レーベル	1258
主宰のダンス・スクール	944
主宰のメールマガジン	829
...
(person or organization who operates)主宰の(organization or activity being operated).

For example, every theatre troupe seems to be run by someone or another. Google news search for "主宰の劇団" returns 119 matches:
児童と共演 記念日祝う 俳優・西村まさ彦さん主宰の劇団:北陸中日新聞Web
google: Theater company led by actor Masahiko Nishimura

劇作家・演出家の前川知大主宰の劇団『イキウメ』 2024年度の公演出演者を募集
google: Ikiume, a theater company led by playwright and director Satoshi Maekawa

Appears for self-run record labels: "主宰の自主レーベル":
http://natrecords.shop-pro.jp/?pid=172560983
Dutch Post-Punk グループがメンバー主宰の自主レーベル Top Hole Records
Top Hole Records, an independent label run by members of the Dutch Post-Punk group

The thing preceding 主宰 can be a non-human entity. "大阪府主宰の" returns a fair number of results. There is one in the refs, and here is another:
https://sanetosaka.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/◆★SA・ネットニュース37号記念誌.pdf
委員は大阪府主宰の「シルバーアドバイザー養成講座、世代間交流コース」修了生から、各地域のリーダー達が集まり委員として企画・運営を諮りました。
google:The committee consisted of graduates from the "Silver Advisor Training Course and Intergenerational Exchange Course" sponsored by Osaka Prefecture

There is a counterargument to [3] that it is an abbreviation of "の主宰の", which does occasionally occur online, but compare on google:
"主宰の" site:mainichi.jp (hundreds of matches)
"の主宰の" site:mainichi.jp" (one real match, but with the more complex structure: "草刈民代の主宰のもと", "under the management of...")

So mainichi, at least, appears to *never* use の主宰の for sense [3].

As with mainichi shimbun, on a google book search for "さんの主宰の" the first page of hits are:
さんの主宰のもとに
さんの主宰の下で,
さんの主宰のもとで
田山さんの主宰の下に
さんの主宰の下に
...

"さん主宰の", by contrast, does not need (or allow) の下.

This seems quite a bit different to me than, say, 社長 as a title you can affix to a name.

Also, it is clearly not a common title(at least for [3]), as it can follow さん, 氏, etc. All googlable:
"社長主宰の"
"クリントン氏主宰の"
"さん主宰の"

Compare:

田中社長	33974	100.0%
田中主宰	0	0.0%

アメリカ元大統領クリントン氏主宰の会議 ... Conference hosted by former US President Clinton (google translate)

A similar analysis probably applies to the homonym 主催 (sponsored by ...).

  Comments:
I recently commented on 未訳. Jim agreed with my intuition that this was not [n]. I have a similar intuition for most [adj-no] beginning with 未.

If you do a jmdict advanced search for:
  starts-with: 未
  starts-with: un
  noun: [check]

You will get 90 matches. Maybe 1/4 of them are glossed with adjectives (the others have a noun stem, like 未使用品). I would personally remove [n] from nearly all of those. They would need to be hand-checked though.

You can find some more with different English prefixes (in, im, non, not)

You might skim a google book search yourself for "未使用を" to see if there is a convincing argument to leave [n]. In shopping and computer science, there is a common contrast between 使用・未使用, but I think the interpretation in these cases is still as adjectives "used/unused(computer memory, product, etc.)", not as nouns "usage/disusage?". It's a category that could just as easily have an adjective in the same spot. 新しい/古い...

I'm going to edit two other similar terms, and then leave for discussion.

  Comments:
"sign and seal" seemed somewhere between a noun and a verb gloss. This term is usually a noun.

This is what artists do when completing a piece of calligraphy or painting, etc. "upon completion" is baked into the word. (落 abbreviated from 落成).

Does not appear to be a signature alone... Sign, then stamp. Though the use of "また" in kokugo definitions seems a little confusing ("in addition" vs. "or else"). The stamp certainly seems integral in any example I can find.

Worked backwards from the definition from daijs to find this.

This appears to be a "parameter" in a very limited sense (though "parameter" is a common gloss). Wikipedia has several different pages for "parameter" (generic, math, computer science, statistics, linguistics...). it's an overloaded term.

This term probably shouldn't be used by anyone who doesn't know *exactly* what they are doing. That's why I put "parameter" as the second gloss.

This is grammatically the same as 整然, and appears to have basically all the same potential glosses. Just mildly reinforced, a bit like "neat & tidy" in English I think.

I don't feel that it is readily apparent how to get from the [adj-t] glosses to the adverbial glosses. At least, I couldn't do it without research. This applies to the main entry 整然 as well, which I have not edited... But here are some google book examples (more context in refs):

But this is clearly also [adj-no], and it appears that our policy is that [adj-f] is redundant. This is the *only* 未~ term currently tagged [adj-f] (and a lot of them do behave this way). So, edited for consistency.

It looks like the "correct" industry term uses a different word for sustainable (持続可能な, found on reverso).
Google for "持続可能なスループット" and you will see this is common.

Search results for "維持可能スループット are all dictionary entries.

Zero book results.

Microsoft uses 維持可能なスループット (or 持続可能なスループット)

(throughput is the amount of data pushed through a system per unit of time. sometimes a processor can handle a large throughput for a short period of time, but then has to slow down. "sustainable" throughput is the speed that can be maintained indefinitely)

You could morph this entry into 持続可能なスループット if interested, I suppose.

In the case of binary alloys, a degree of order of atom species A and B increases with decreasing temperature after a substance undergoes a transition from a disordered phase to an ordered phase. The "long-range order parameter" means this degree of order. It can be measured from the intensity change of a specific reflection that appears in an ordered phase.

https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/138255/what-is-an-order-parameter
  Comments:
A bunch of other terms for this:
https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/秩序変数
秩序変数(ちつじょへんすう、英: order parameter)または秩序パラメータ、オーダーパラメータとは、相が持つ秩序を表すマクロな変数のことである。

秩序変数	765	42.7% <--- wikipedia headword for "order parameter"
秩序パラメータ	350	19.5%
オーダーパラメータ	222	12.4%

秩序度	454	25.3% <--- this term

This can mean "high degree of order" in any context (philosophy was one I found in book results). Even in a chemistry context, it doesn't appear to always be "order parameter". So the ngrams are inflated vs. other glosses of "order parameter".

For "order parameter", this often appears as a suffix:
配向秩序度	70	100.0% sometimes just "order parameter", or "orientation order parameter"
長距離秩序度	0	0.0% long-range order parameter
短距離秩序度	0	0.0% short-range order parameter

I tried to come up with glosses for this a few days ago but I just felt lost. The explanations are all over the place.
I don't think "in a wish-fulfillment story" is necessarily true.
What's the source for "male"? Wiktionary has "Mary Sue (without a gender connotation)".
I'm not sure why sense 2 is adj-f. Niconicopedia defines it as a noun and Wiktionary glosses it as a noun.
