Comments: | I think the definition of 沿線 should be a *noun phrase* rather than a prepositional phrase. E.g. "the places alongside a railway line, bus route, major thoroughfare, etc." J-J dictionaries define 沿線 as a noun (e.g. Sanseido: (名) 線路に沿った所). Noun usage: 1. その公園は私鉄の沿線にある. 2. 沿線案内 a guide to the places along a train line [both examples from GG5]. |

Comments: | I think it's fine to use rK on uk entries (we've done it plenty of times already). But GG5 and prog have 胼胝 for たこ, and my IME suggests 胼胝 for たこ. I also suspect that people who are familiar with the kanji are more likely to read it as たこ than as べんち/へんち. I think it's best not to tag 胼胝 as rK. |
|
11. | A* 2023-07-04 21:56:41 Jim Breen <...address hidden...> | |
Comments: | We've tended to use rK to flag rare kanji forms which could be hidden with an sK but since they appear in kokugos should be kept visible. I doubt they're really needed for uk entries. Perhaps this needs to be discussed in the issues GitHub forum. |
