Fan translation from Japanese:
In other words, the character of kson SOUCHOU is inspired by the Japanese biker gangs of the 70s or 80s.
 暴走族たちは、バイクに乗らなくなったあと、ヤクザになることが多かったのです。
Bousouzoku Japanese biker gangs often became yakuza(Japanese mafia) after they stopped riding motorcycles.
 ですから、kson総長のキャラクターは、「これからヤクザになる予定の不良」というイメージです。
Therefore, the character of kson SOUCHOU is the image of a delinquent who plans to become a yakuza.
 kson総長の衣装は、古い時代の不良の服装です。だから、日本人には、なつかしいものに見えます。
The costume of kson SOUCHOU is an old-fashioned delinquent's attire. So, for Japanese people, it is nostalgic.

English conversation of same:
https://www.reddit.com/r/VirtualYoutubers/comments/qa3ost/kaichou_and_souchou_side_to_side_comparison_art/
Kumichou is the title used for Yakuza leaders and in rare cases construction company presidents

Souchou is for Bosozoku leaders and University headmasters, also fit for Yakuza leaders

I think one difference that might matter is identifying as Kumichou is bit of a self admission of conspiring in some organized crime, while Souchou can be largely clean, like if you’re just busting streets through red lights in a horde of straight pipes, that’s bunch of misdemeanors but not felonies.

総長 (sou chou) - literally, overall in charge. This term depends heavily on context. 事務総長 (ji mu sou chou) refers to Secretary-General, or the person who is in charge of all admin affairs (事務) within a political party. 総長 in kson's case refers to the head of a biker gang/yakuza gang.
  Comments:
I suspect you'll disagree with [n-suf] on [2]. It certainly isn't terribly productive, but there are a handful of terms. I would suggest that if [2] is not [n-f], it maybe doesn't warrant an entry at all... I don't get the impression that it is used without the remainder of its title (otherwise it would mean "president").

There is a central meaning - leader over a group of things which have their own leadership, "head of a chain of command". In the university case (vs. replaced "college"), there are many colleges under the 総長 president. In the case of secretary general, chief-of-staff, etc., it's the head of a chain of command.

Apparently for the biker gang, it used to be that there were many little gangs, and the 総長 was head of a group of gangs. But the meaning became generalized to the leader of individual groups. Possibly dated (~80s nostalgia?)

Why am I editing this? There is one of these "VTubers" who goes by ksonSouchou, and people with even a smattering of Japanese ability have been working extra hard to decipher given its lack of dictionary coverage. "Secretary general", and "president of university" definitely were not the image she was trying to evoke.

[3] is in sankoku, so it seems reasonable to add.

Aligning [1] with 大学学長. Equivalent to the "head position" at a university. Decided against adding "provost" from 学長, though this may be an option (in the U.K. the provost is the president, but in the U.S. the provost is under the president... hmmm). I have to learn English to edit these... "Chancellor" if this is a working position, "Vice-chancellor" if the title of "Chancellor" is held as a ceremonial position where the vice-chancellor actually does the work.

I think [2] and [1] are their own sense (or, at least, it makes them easier to handle as separate senses with xrefs). There is no "good" gloss for [2] on its own. 総長 does not generally stand alone with the meaning "secretary general". reverso for secretary general gives 事務総長 everywhere. daijs says 総長 could essentially abbreviate *any* of the 〇〇総長 possibilities, but again, 総長 does not generally appear unadorned. If you want to write "secretary general" you should use 事務総長(or 事務局長).

ejje.weblio doesn't even offer a gloss for 総長 by itself (other than university president). It's all compounds. Same with eow.acl. There are many examples, but anything that is only 総長 is translated as "president".
https://eow.alc.co.jp/search?q=総長

Not sure about the xref to 2852943 (or whether one is warranted in reverse). I get the feeling that 学長 総長 is a matter of administrative and historical preference (like chancellor, president, provost) that is maybe not readily meaningful to the general public.

  Comments:
I guess I am "disappearing" the 戟 kanji form, but it sure seems to deserve it.

Long-story-short on the rest: 刺激 means "irritating" in the skin-response-to-chemicals sense, but pretty much nothing else, and definitely not "annoying". This term is widely misused by English speakers(this unadorned gloss predates jmdictdb), and I think needs some kind of clarification.

====

I've spent a while looking at this entry, and 刺激性. Wordreference seems to have it figured out. Under "irritation" in the E->J direction, where there are many potential glosses, 刺激 is limited to (cause discomfort to part of body)/(身体の一部).

irritate⇒ vtr	(annoy) (人) ~をイライラさせる、怒らせる、いら立たせる 他動
  (身体の一部) ~を刺激する、炎症を起させる 他動
ex. This sweater's a bit irritating if you wear it next to your skin.

Under 刺激 they list:
irritation n	(skin reaction)

That seems a bit narrow. You can 刺激 any tissue of the body I think(lungs, eyes, nose, etc.).

The wikipedia entry for 刺激性 is all about chemical irritants. 刺激性's #1 use is for irritation of the body (skin, eyes, nose, lungs, etc.). 刺激性 as 刺激 + 性 for senses[2] and [3] here is comparatively quite rare.

The unadorned gloss of irritation has, I think, lead to a lot of poor translations. Just a handful of the many bad "examples" on reverso:
Filter packs screen out offensive and irritating Web pages. フィルターパックは攻撃的で刺激性のWebページをふるい落とす。
I have never in my life met someone so irritating. 私は刺激性の誰かに会ったことがない私の人生を持っている。
Please help me to solve this irritating issue by suggesting an optimum solution. ...刺激性の問題...
It is very irritating as you cannot watch your favorite video peacefully. あなたが好きなビデオを平和的に見ることができないので、とても刺激的です。
and on and on....
https://context.reverso.net/翻訳/英語-日本語/irritating

On that list of examples, 刺激性の問題 legitimately exists, but only as "the problem of(skin) irritants". (not "an annoying problem")
皮膚刺激性の問題も事実上ない
https://fams-skin.com/famsbook/famsbook-3621/

I'm open to any other ideas for clarification.

Added the xref in place of trying to clarify somehow. there are lots of "stimulant" entries that have similar (and robust) n-gram counts. This one is notable in that the dictionary specifically uses it in a non-chemical context ("failure is a good motivator"). daijs: その失敗がよい―になった」. It's also notable for *not* being listed as a "stimulant" term on wikipedia's chemical stimulants page as a synonym.

Weblio has a large collection of good glosses from other sources if you'd like to choose some...
https://ejje.weblio.jp/content/刺激剤

I am extremely suspicious of glossing this entry as "irritant" (even though you'll find this on weblio, and on other "stimulant" entries). If it's in the context of "non-刺激剤" or "low-刺激剤", then perhaps low-irritant or non-irritant/anti-irritant makes sense. But I don't think it would be used as "irritant" in a non-negated context...

Look at this terrible gloss/translation, for example:
呼吸刺激剤
respiratory irritant《医》〔睡眠時無呼吸症候群などの治療に用いられる〕
The example sentence says 呼吸刺激剤 would be used to *treat* sleep apnea. It's a respiratory stimulant, not an irritant....

More notes at 刺激.

Well, my intuition about 刺激 and "irritant" was evidently not correct. While 刺激性 can by definition be the quality of any sense of 刺激, in practice it is *especially* popular in marking a product or substance as causing an unwanted chemical/biological reaction.

The most common real-world translation is simply "irritant". Google image search is *all* chemical irritation, allergies, immune system reactions, etc.

pungent oder used in the context of cooking, also for intentionally-perfumed smell of natural gas. pungent things "irritate the nose", as it were. Still a chemical impact.

Outside of senses, seems most common as 刺激性のがる... (pungent... irritating... exciting...). As "a chemical irritant" is seems to have more direct grammatical application

For sense [2] and [3] of 刺激, converting to 刺激性 is a nearly impossible gloss. They are rarely used as it is, but "the quality of..." any of the terms over there. We could just copy/paste the whole list over.

I have yet to find an instance where "incentive" would function as a gloss, so I've left it off. As a noun, 刺激 alone might be read as an "incentive" if it motivates someone to action, and I've already said every term there could be copied here... But I don't know when "incentive" would ever be translated as 刺激性.

Sense [1] does seem to have the sense of "stimulant", but only as "provokes a reaction" (a reaction that is generally undesired, hence "irritant"). I don't think there is a positive connotation here that "stimulate" would suggest (at least for [1], not so for [2]).

The use of [2] seems principally to be 刺激性のある何々, so "having stimulating qualities/stimulation, exciting qualities/excitement" seems right to me...

I'm sure you'll all have other thoughts. I've thought about as long about this as I can, this is not a perfect entry by any means.

  Comments:
I don't think [med] is enough to undo the implications of "irritability", so I added a parenthetical. Search wikipedia and you'll only get 5 hits for this. 4 fit this simple definition. The other is on Ritalin and ADHD.

I *have* seen this in the context of ADHD
http://shinrigaku.hannnari.com/ae.html
irritability 被刺激性
irritable aggression 苛立ちによる攻撃. (note the different vocab used)

This is a long article on 戦争について 脳の被刺激性亢進, which google has translated as "Hyperstimulability of the Brain", which I think is awesome. stimulability...
https://ameblo.jp/meiekisakou-mentalclinic/entry-12734520196.html

The article isn't about being "perturbed" so much as "negatively affected in an unsupressable way" by outside stimuli.

If "irritability" is used in an ADHD context in English, it can't be separated from the image of an upset person. I'm not quite sure this has the same implications in Japanese... but this is beyond me.

What I feel relatively confident about is that laymen don't use this to describe each other as "irritable". (basically non-existant on twitter, mostly a few Chinese references)

I'd mark as [rare], but it's correct as medical jargon.

"Inhibitor" is by bar the most common on reverso (used as a suffix/compound - naninani-inhibitor)

腐食~ corrosion inhibitor

"retardant" in "flame retardant" (燃焼抑制剤, but there are far more common terms for flame retardant, and fire inhibitor would be fine. Can't imagine where "retardant" would be needed beyond "fire".)

Though, if you search "抑制剤" "retardant" you will get lots of (fire/flame/heat~) hits, so maybe it's worth including. Eh, I guess I'll add it. Trying not to just copy weblio.
