I don't think this is used literally. It probably should go in as a figurative gloss in the Nirvana sense.

The very first definition provided for 彼岸 in Japanese dictionaries is "向こう岸。対岸。", meaning "the other/opposite shore" basically. This is why "Beyond Good and Evil" is called 善悪の彼岸, with 彼岸 meaning "beyond".

I think because we don't want to spend time arguing over which JMnedict entries deserve the [spec1] tag, we're just apply the tag to all entries with the [product] tag, [company] tag, etc.

This word (from 2012) is too new to be reflected in the n-gram counts (from 2007). Both JA and EN wikis have an article for it. I'd say that is enough of a reason to include this entry in the JMdict file.
