Comments: | This should be two entries. It doesn't make sense to tag this as "uk" when へ is almost always written with kanji. Also, with the exception of koj, my refs don't even have kanji for おなら. |

Comments: | One wit said that lexicographers are divided into "splitters and clumpers". I'm fairly much in the clumper camp, which is probably why JMdict is the way it is. That said, I agree that へ/おなら is a real borderline case, and is a shining example of the messiness of Japanese orthography. If there was a clean usage split between へ and おなら, e.g. one was always polite/clinical and the other was always col/vulg, I'd put them in different senses with comments to indicate usage, but it seems both are used in both applications. On balance I think they should stay in the one entry. |

Comments: | Would be glad to find a good way to improve this one, It also seems to be used to count rows in a spreadsheet, or point to the correct Nth line in the source code of software. |

Refs: | jitenon: https://yoji.jitenon.jp/yojib/904.html https://twitter.com/yuuki2014abc/status/1571677718680576000 According to this user on twitter, many "之 series" yoji are fair game in the yoji section of the kanken. Jitenon also has kanken 1 tags on many 之 yoji. The notion that "之 = illegitimate yoji" continues to seem unfounded to me. Wikipedia's yoji article mentions differing schools of thought on this topic, but popular opinion is apparently in favor of their inclusion.
