I think あ can be dropped. We don't have the archaic pronoun senses for か(彼), かの(彼) and かれ(彼).
I don't think we need アレ in the readings field.

If 共和 was invented as a translation for the Dutch word "republik" in 1845 (daijr), I don't think "orig. meaning" works on sense 2.
I wouldn't mind having "republicanism" on sense 1 as an n. I don't think it's a "true adjective" because it's only used like that in a couple of set words/熟語.

I just don't think the glosses make sense considering how the word is actually used, and I don't think adding "often -ほど" as a note really helps on that front. If you look at the sentence "喉から手が出るほどほしい" (currently in the news because it was used in a letter by Yamagami), this entry ends up being very confusing and would produce a full sentence "to want something to the extent that you want something very much".

I think it's worth keeping -it's common and has 63 sentences linked to it.
When Paul Blay proposed it in 2007 he commented that it could possibly have more glosses. I see that most of the 63 have it as "nothing: in some form, e.g.
私の邪魔をするものは何もない。 There is nothing to hinder me.
我々には行く手をさえぎるものは何もない。 Nothing bars our way.
Almost all examples have it at the end of the sentence, which may be worth a note.
Interestingly, in the two sentences where it is glossed as "empty" it is not prenominal:
その部屋には使い古したベッドのほかは何もなかった。 The room was empty except for a shabby bed.
倉庫には家具が一つの他には何もなかった。 The warehouse was empty except for a piece of furniture.

Daijr/s both have 2 senses for あれっきり, but the one that I encountered while reading today was a combination of あれ + the third sense we have listed for っきり, so I'm adding a third sense here too. Struggling to come up with a good gloss for it though, and I could also see an argument for combining it with sense 2.

We should probably also add あれきり, which is synonymous.

月が綺麗ですね
つきがきれいですね
1. [exp]
《supposedly coined by Natsume Sōseki as an indirect translation of the English "I love you"》
▶ the moon is beautiful, isn't it?
Cross references:

  Comments:
I wouldn't mind a second [euph] sense, which of course would not lead to a back-translation into English, but let's leave this for now.
16. A* 2022-07-25 11:53:12  Robin Scott <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
I absolutely do not believe that it's used in anything other than a tongue-in-cheek manner. I'd say this is evidenced by the examples given here. In many (all?) of them, the people involved aren't even looking at the moon.
One of the links below discusses use in dramas but 月が綺麗ですね is only mentioned in the context of the Soseki story. I'd be surprised if there are any uses of 月が綺麗ですね in fictional works that don't reference Soseki.
It could be argued that 月が綺麗ですね is worth recording for the simple reason that it's a reasonably well-known expression. But I don't think it's correct to gloss it as "I love you". It would never be translated back into English that way.
I wouldn't be so strongly opposed to this if we just dropped "I love you" as a gloss, making it clearer that it only has this meaning by way of implication because of the anecdote.

video of a K-pop band member saying this to another band member (at a Japanese concert, supposedly) to the absolute delight of the (female) audience.
(apparently "queerbaiting" is quite popular in K-pop and these 2 particular members are the frequent target of "shipping")

even Kei Komuro sort of used (or at least likely referenced) this when courting his princess:
https://www.excite.co.jp/news/article/Jisin_2030995/

I could probably post a million more sources but it's got to be clear now that this is definitely used for real.

月が綺麗ですねって言われた///

https://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q1194946331 (2012)

だから「I LOVE YOUってこと?」と確認してみてキョトンとした顔を見てまた笑います。
A: 純文学が好きな彼氏にそう言われた時、
わたし、死んでもいいよ と答えました。
お互いその意味は知っているからこそ使ったのですが、
言葉にすると、ものすごく恥ずかしかったぁぁぁ。
A: 月がきれいですねと私が言ったら
その時お付き合いしていた男性は
「ウサギがお餅ついてるね」
と笑っていいました。
いまの旦那様です。

Obviously you realize that it's irrelevant what the "English-language internet is full of claims" about, and that what actually matters is if this is used in Japanese or not. Of course claiming that "(in general) Japanese say 'the moon is beautiful' instead of saying 'I love you'" is bullshit but it is demonstrably true that this phrasing is actually used in real life, online, and in works of fiction in Japan. Having an entry for it is not a commentary on the English-language claims nor the equivalent of us saying "this is how Japanese people confess their feelings", just like having an entry on 口にする isn't the same thing as saying "Japanese people don't actually use the verb 'eat', they instead say 'put things in your mouth'."

One thing we can do to clarify this isn't the standard way of saying "I love you" in Japanese though is to tag this as [rare], which it obviously is compared to other ways of expressing the same thing.

Hm...! I've always interpreted it as a program that one is a regular on, from the way TV entertainers frequently talk about how many レギュラー番組 they have. But of course the program itself needs to be regular for them to be able to regularly appear on it. I asked a native speaker which of the two interpretations they preferred and they weren't really sure. but if this is how those sources define it, I guess that's the correct way to read it.
