Tokugawa Ieyasu moved it to its current site in 1598 as he began to build up the city of Edo. Zojo-ji became the patron temple of the Tokugawa and the final resting place for many of the shoguns—hence the temple and its gates are decorated with the hollyhock family crest of the Tokugawa clan. For posterity, someone who used the GG5 gloss: Tochigi Governor Fukuda of the launch of the Tokugawa design version of "Coca-Cola" Slim Bottle ...launched the Tokugawa design version of "Coca-Cola" Slim Bottle decorated with an iconic design of the wild ginger trefoil coat of arms of the Tokugawa clan. https://en.ccbji.co.jp/event/20181002/ |
|
Comments: | I was wondering if "Tokugawa family crest" might have been a simpler gloss, but I see it's a complicated issue. (and there are a number of 三つ葉葵). It does seem rare for anyone to try and gloss the crest title literally. Just going to add the ご surface form. Saw a couple of interesting datapoints that I'm noting in refs in case it ever comes up again, but otherwise I am not worried about it., |

I'll approve this temporarily to shorten the ques but leave it here as a reminder. It would be good to get a long-term solution to the issue of the readings of numerics+counters. |

Comments: | I personally don't have anything to send. The dictionary has been published in an app for iPhone and Android, and there's a user on reddit who seems to have been able to pull all of the pitch accent data from it (although the counter forms don't appear to be included). So there must be some way to extract the data. |

Comments: | Comments at 地熱エネルギー. Note, unlike some other terms, this seems a bit more technical, and the technical profession/literature seems to prefer ちねつ. If you actually google "じねつちょりゅうそう" you get zero matches, but I don't think that changes the reality of the ちねつ/じねつ pronunciation split in the population. It would be weird to be inconsistent with this entry without some sort of explicit reason. I'd say a learner should prefer ちねつ in call cases anyway. But dictionaries are recognizing じねつ as valid. |
