Comments: | いずかた and いずち are tagged as 雅 in smk. I think they should be separate [poet] entries. I'll set it up. I don't think we should ever use sk for ok readings like this. They're not variant forms; they're separate archaic words. I think they can be dropped. I think ok reading that we want to keep should be separate arch-tagged entries. |

For いずかた, GG5 has a separate entry and uses いず方 in examples with the 《文》 tag. Perhaps it should go in its own [rare][form[ entry. Comments: | I think one of the strengths of JMdict/EDICT is its coverage of non-standard and erroneous forms. If they are "out there" in sufficient numbers, as in this case with over 3k in the n-grams, it's worth keeping them. It really helps text-glossing systems, and it's of benefit to users, especially learners. If an app builder doesn't want to show them, they are free to leave them out - that's their choice. |

Comments: | I propose dropping 滅り込む completely. It was a mistake. Here is what I wrote in the old update system in early 2010: "Scott suggested adding 滅り込む, which is in GG5 and the Progressive. I am very suspicious of that 滅, as it's not in 広辞苑i, 大辞林, etc. and it gets low Googits. I emailed a GG5 editor at Kenkyusha, and he replied that it is indeed an error, and they'll change it shortly. It seemed that earlier editions had just めり込む, and when they added the kanji, they picked the wrong one. Maybe the Progressive people did the same?" I should have dropped it in 2010. It's no longer in GG5. |

I'll approve this temporarily to shorten the ques but leave it here as a reminder. It would be good to get a long-term solution to the issue of the readings of numerics+counters. |

Comments: | I personally don't have anything to send. The dictionary has been published in an app for iPhone and Android, and there's a user on reddit who seems to have been able to pull all of the pitch accent data from it (although the counter forms don't appear to be included). So there must be some way to extract the data. |

Refs: | https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dating_sim The term "dating sim" is also sometimes used incorrectly in English as a generic term for romance-driven games (恋愛ゲーム, ren'ai games), especially visual novels focused on romance.[3] This can lead to confusion, as visual novels are considered a subgenre of adventure games and are not included in the dating sim genre. While the two genres often share a common visual presentation, dating sims are considered to be more statistically based, whereas visual novels focus on telling a branching story.[2] |
