I am very suspicious of that 滅, as it's not in 広辞苑i, 大辞林, etc. and it gets low Googits. I emailed a GG5 editor at Kenkyusha, and he replied that it is indeed an error, and they'll change it shortly. It seemed that earlier editions had just めり込む, and when they added the kanji, they picked the wrong one. Maybe the Progressive people did the same?" I should have dropped it in 2010. It's no longer in GG5. |
