Comments: | I'm not seeing "維持する" captured in these glosses. But without contemporary examples to refer to, I wouldn't feel confident suggesting alternatives. This is one of the reasons I'd rather we didn't add archaic words simply because they appear in a dictionary. A lot of our glosses probably aren't very good.
