Comments: | Robin's suggestion has been there for a while and no one has responded. I think it's a good way to go. The "koyomi" romaji version seems to get little or no use - most WWW hits are for a brand of shochu. I'll pull this back to one sense, drop the koyomi gloss, and unless there are objections I'll edit the glosses of the ~20 entries with "koyomi" in them. |

Comments: | The most popular usage of this word refers exactly to the cloth being wrapped around the chest of a woman (or the belly of a man), as suggested overwhelmingly by a Google Image search of either "sarashi" or "さらし". While the word fundamentally refers to the cloth itself, a nice definition is incomplete without an explicit reference to this particular garment. There could also be a cross-reference to 腹巻き; however, that word refers to the male usage. "さらし" is used perhaps as a euphemism for the more on-the-nose female "むねつぶし" (no entry in JMDict) (for modern clothing "sports bra" is more common). |

|
Comments: | The “especially of a prostitute” part seems to be salient according to most dictionaries, which (anecdotally) is congruous with how I've seen the word be used in modern media. Another option would be to add that as a second meaning (“[2][n] (male) lover of a prostitute”). The “see also” note I deemed relevant due to it seeming common among other dictionaries – “間夫” is a fairly obscure term, after all! |

Comments: | This is an unexpected sense that crops of from time to time in my translations. This time it was a heading in a table listing the purposes for which a certain marketing video was made. Context made it very clear that these were the aims of the video in question. I've also seen it before and really scratched my head about it in the past. When I thought of it in terms of "where are we going with this," it all suddenly made snese. |
