I don't think vi on adverb entries is helpful in most cases. It doesn't tell you whether the word is used like a regular verb or just adjectivally as 〜した/〜している.
I wouldn't object to including it on entries where we lead with vs (like this one).

(only ムズムズ on that list is what we're specifically talking about here)
I don't think there's an innate rule that says a スル adv can't be vt, although I'm hard-pressed to come up with one that isn't. But くんくん for example has one を-して example on reverso (out of 7).
But even if there is indeed such a rule, and all of these スル adv can only be vi, I would expect that only a minority of our users would be aware of that, so I think we should still mark them as vi.

Do you have a source for that? The kokugos disagree. As do I actually, if somebody asks me 炭酸を飲む? at dinner, I know they're asking if I want soda water, not coke or something similar.

GG5 does have this sentence: ►俺, 炭酸だめなんだよ. I can't drink ┏carbonated beverages [fizzy drinks].
but I think this is just sense 1, a more literal translation would be "I don't like carbonic acid" and it's understood from context the speaker is talking about drinks.

https://www.english.cam.ac.uk/elor/lo/adverbials/index.html

I would say "2メートル" and "20マイル" are both definitely adverbials. But again, if we did have those as entries and they only had the literal meanings, I don't think it would be meaningful to tag them as [adv] or [adj-no], though they could be used as both. But the 2nd sense here is obviously different. What exactly is the difference between tagging that sense as an adjective and as an adverb?
7. A* 2022-02-19 20:32:20  Jim Breen <...address hidden...>

I don't think it's adverbial. Tanaka has 軍隊は20マイル前進した; I'd call that more the object.
6. A* 2022-02-19 03:54:44  Marcus Richert <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
It is my understanding that "2メートル" in "2メートル前進する" would be considered an adverbial, yes, but I don't think it'd be productive/helpful to anyone to tag entries like that as [adv] just like how I don't think we should stick [adj-no] on just about any noun. It does seem obviously useful to put it on the second sense though just as much as having that sense tagged [adj-no]. The point about "2 meters" not really being an adverb per se also applies to whether or not it's an adjective, does it not? Is "2メートル" an adjective in the phrase "2メートルの距離"? If it's fine to call the second sense an [adj-no], surely it's also fine to call it an [adv].

I've been convinced that adv should be added to sense 2. As it's idiomatic, the original part(s) of speech don't necessarily apply. It's similar to how "180" in "He did a complete 180" is a noun, not a numeral.

振り返す と 繰り返す はどう違いますか?説明が難しい場合は、例文を教えて下さい。

振り返すとは言いません。振り返り、か、振り返る、が正しいです。
振り返り(noun),振り返る(verb):review, look back
繰り返す:repeat

eij:
 手を振り返す wave back
にっこり笑って手を振り返す wave back smiling

Results for "を振り返して" on google are exclusively things like "手を振り返す男性心理" "「後でね」って手を振り返して" "手を振り返さないのは嫌われてますか?" "あ、手を振り返してくれてる" "手を振り返してほしい"
  Comments:
We already have ぶり返す as a separate entry. Nikk alone does have 振り返す as both ふりかえす and ぶりかえす. Daij koj have ぶりかえす as ぶり返す only and don't have ふりかえす as an entry at all. My Windows IME does not bring up "振り返す" for the input ぶりかえす at all, though it does for ふりかえす (2nd option, after 振替す).

ふりかえす with the meaning attested in nikk is likely archaic and the only current meaning of this word is "to wave back", which explains the high ngram count. I suggest this entry is deleted to avoid confusion, or changed to "to wave back" (though it's a little A+B)
3. A* 2022-02-20 00:08:39

I'm just writing a comment because I'm not sure, but shouldn't be the reading ぶりかえす instead? Both weblio and kotobank gives me that reading (actually kotobank redirects me to ぶり返す).
In addition weblio has a ふりかえす entry, but it should be something like "wave back" and "look back".

If we're saying this is "from トレース + パクリ" as opposed to an abbreviation of "トレースパクリ", I don't think the abbr tag is appropriate. There's a difference. "Biopic" comes from "biographical" and "picture" but it isn't an abbreviation.

https://unseenjapan.com/logical-harassment-japan/
Roji-hara is, according to one site, the act of “cornering and chasing someone down with a logical argument.” In other words, it’s not just about simply making a logical argument. It’s about using “logic” to continue to press one’s point regardless of the other person’s feelings.
