クラッカー [gai1] クラッカ [sk]

Probably best not to try and pin it down. The Webisphere is full of definitions of the English term, and we can be sure the Japanese doesn't align precisely with all of them. GG5 says it's a person.

(2) A person who reverse engineers software and modifies it for fun. The term often applies to game software. See disassembler.

I don't think we should provide full definitions for terms like this one. I think "(software) cracker" or just "cracker" with the comp tag is enough. We don't specify on sense 1 that it's an edible cracker as opposed to a braggart etc. (the definition that leads in some ei-ei dictionarie)

As 縹緻 is not a variant of 器量, I don't think we can make it sK unless we include an "also written as 縹緻" note on sense 1. I'm not sure if that's a better approach (considering the form's rarity).
6. A* 2022-10-11 10:18:40  Jim Breen <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
I'm inclined to change that rK to sK and remove the 器量 restrictions from the later senses. After all the kokugos only say ...とも書く... and are not stating that 縹緻 really is a valid surface form.
