[3] seems like it would be an uncommon usage, given the nuance involved in [1] and [2]. Also, dropped from modern dictionary (sankoku). I think a clearer meaning or two would be helpful here.  i understand how it could be translated as "removing one's hat" -- although I've certainly seen that conveyed much more frequently as "taking one's hat off to (someone/something)". We currently have five law entries with "abbr. of ..." notes. I propose the following:

I think this format is OK. Wikipedia describes it as a "通称" as opposed to an abbreviation.
Wikipedia says that アイヌ新法 also refers to a newer law passed in 2019 (that replaced the 1997 one). Not sure how we want to incorporate this. A second sense?
