"acoustic" really just means to do with sound. Some people coined "acoustic guitar" because "guitar" alone had come to mean the electrified variety (but not to me), then that got abbreviated to just "acoustic" and then it took on the "non-electrified" meaning. All a bit of a mess.

I thought about adding "sense of urgency" , but I think that's really stretching it. 緊張 is about tension, not urgency. Something being urgent may lead to tension, but that doesn't make it part of the set of meanings.

your assessment that the current glosses fail 
to capture the meaning of いい意味での緊張感. I 
think "nervousness/sense of tension, in a 
positive sense" captures that usage quite well 
so I don't really see the need for additional 
glosses, let alone a separate sense. There's 
always room for improvement though and we 
might be able to refine sense 1. "sense of 
urgency" maybe fits in there, but I'm not 
really sure, the connotations of it feel 
slightly different to me. I'll let somebody 
else weigh in on that.

Marcus: 良い緊張感 is not a phrase in and of itself. 良い is being used here to *specify* "the good kind of 緊張感"; they go on to say 良い意味での緊張感 which is obviously a complete descriptive phrase. My comments on 緊張感がない are relevant here as well. 

Jim: It seemed more helpful to me to add a new sense rather than adding the (positive) meanings from my suggestion into the (negative) sense we already have. 緊張感 is very much akin to テンション, in both its literal meaning and also the way it can be either positive or negative based on context; we have two separate senses for テンション that capture this.
At the very least, this 良い意味での緊張感 is not captured at all by the existing sense for 緊張感.

I disagree, I think it being common, and being obviously more common than similar possible constructs, is why we include any compound noun 
in the dictionary. I don't think it's weird to expect an unabridged dictionary that doesn't censor itself to have an entry like this. I 
don't think it's unthinkable it could be usable for reverse lookups (remember that reverse lookups aren't always exact but happen through 
google which is good at throwing up relevant weblio's ei-wa pages which include our definitions)

I don't think that fact alone justifies its inclusion. "Clothed sex" is probably the most common term for this in English but I wouldn't expect to find it in an EJ dictionary. It's not as though this would be helpful for reverse lookups.

Interesting observation. As the n-grams show, 蠢愚 is even less common than 愚蠢. It would need to be a new entry, although I doubt it is worth it.

Perhaps it would be more evident with a concrete example:

GG5: 緊張感がない feel no 「tension [tenseness, nervousness]; have no 「feeling [air, atmosphere] of tension.

That meaning is certainly not backed by GG5. 
I don't find Weblio's thesaurus to be a lot of use as its synonyms are often only loosely related. I'd never take it alone as the basis for a translation.
