I don't think that first sense belongs here. When it comes to literal and other meanings of expressions that aren't included 
in other dictionaries, I think we probably err on the side of inclusion a little too often. Sometimes we have to trust that 
users will understand that an expression can be a set phrase while also have another meaning if it appears in another

I'm a little "weirded out" by this (for lack of a better word) because ゆうて is orig. Kansai-ben of 言って, something I hear often, but

I think we can probably have both the とする and にする versions. GG5 has examples using both.
Should the inflection tag be dropped. considering it's most likely to be used in the して form? Or did you mean to cut it back to 政争の具?

Wait, do we? I've been operating under the assumption the preferred order was the opposite one, for ages. I've flipped the order on 10s if not 100s of entries throughout the years.

For Japanese names we put the family name first. Please make a case for such a change.

Sorry, I forgot to respond to this. I don't think this belongs in the names dictionary (or the main dictionary). It's not the name of a specific work but rather Bach's made-up word for "Fugue". Also, for a katakana-ized word, 700 hits isn't much at all.

Seems there are no objections.

With 700 in the n-grams, I'm reluctant to drop it altogether. Maybe this works.
