	Comments:	Apparently this is a calque from English(at least for sense [2]). Never heard of it, but "royal road" is the most common reverso gloss. sankoku does not identify as adj-na, but usage suggests otherwise. There is a 的 form, which I have created separately. Yourei has 940 examples, 60 of which are 的. の seems more common as an adj. than な, but な does appear. As an adjective this seems to be at least primarily (perhaps entirely) sense [3]. https://yourei.jp/王道 We don't commonly xref the 的 forms from the main forms, but at least this offers some [adj] glosses. This is far less "stodgy" of a usage than I expected. Is 王道のやり方 an easy method, or a traditional method? From what I've seen so far, it seems to be the latter.

	Comments:	Yes, I agonized quite a bit before putting it in. "verb現場を..." and "nounの現場を..." comes up again and again meaning "in the act of". Here are some from GG5's examples: とばくの現場を押さえないことには彼らを逮捕できない． We can't arrest them unless we catch them actually in the act of gambling. 姦通の現場をおさえる catch sb in the act of adultery 警察はついに産廃不法投棄の現場を押さえた． The police finally caught them in the act of illegally dumping industrial waste. There are several in the Tanakas too. The Kenkyusha 新英和大辞典 has: He was caught in the (very) act (of stealing it). (盗もうとする)現場を見つかった[捕らえられた]. I don't mind it not being a solo sense, but I feel there should be some nod towards that usage. To me at the moment sense 1 doesn't quite do it.

The new definitions are only suggestions since I haven't seen this word enough to get a sense for its usage (especially in the second sense) yet. 	Comments:	I just want to comment that "magical girl" should probably be the first gloss here. It is by far and easily the default sense as the word is used in in contemporary japanese. It's an entire codified archetype, not a "stock character"; and "magical girl" is the established and proper english term for referring to the same archetype. In fact, I might go as far as to say that "young witch" should be a second, separate gloss (i.e. behind a [2]). Mahou shoujo are associated with witches (see: madoka magica, etc), but that association is auxiliary to the mahou shoujo archetype itself.

	Comments:	I think it would be OK. We've done a similar thing with ブラシ/刷子, ランプ/洋灯 and ポンプ/喞筒. "gikun" marks a kanji reading so a uk tag isn't needed, and 緬甸 is obsolete whether it's read めんでん or ビルマ so "obs" is still fine.

	Comments:	I'd leave it alone. I wouldn't want ビルマ in two entries, and if it went off to the 緬甸 entry as a "gikun" reading it would have to be "uk", and the "obs" would have to come off, etc. et.

I propose a ビルマ with a note saying "also written 緬甸" and a 緬甸/めんでん entry with a tag sourcing from from Chinese.
