I think Japanese shortcakes are still shortcakes, just that they replace one ingredient with another.

I think it's weird to treat it as if the Japanese version is not a shortcake at all considering google image results for [ショートケー

With that note I'd leave it where it is. It's the first sense in the JEs (and GG5 only has 込む) and in the Tanaka sentences 40 are using 混む and 8 are using 込む but they ALL mean crowded.

If move it down to sense 3, it still comes 
before the suffixes. I think it's really weird 
to lead with a meaning that's not at all 
common for 込む now that 混む has been split 
out.

I don't think sense 1 should be sandwiched between the suf senses (or moved to the bottom). How about a note?

I see ノンバイナリー gets more hits on twitter.

I assumed that "Xジェンダー" was a somewhat dated term that will soon be superseded by ノンバイナリー (if it hasn't happened already). I've encountered ノンバイナリー in writing on more than one occasion and I suspect it's the preferred term among LGBT communities in Japan.

Looks good. Does ら抜き言葉 deserver a similar tweaking?

Trying to make it clearer. I think "言葉" here means "language" (i.e. style of speaking/writing), not "word". Daijs describes it as an "言い方".
I don't think exp is needed. We don't have it on ら抜き言葉. More of a compound noun than an expression.
