I like keeping the terms in the indices complete as it helps identify modifications to the sentences themselves. Around 50-70 sentences get changed each week and I have software that tracks and identifies the changes. The completeness of the indices is central to this.

I think any (non-technical) term that isn't in English dictionaries (or at least widely known) needs a short description.

Aren't we adding a little too many explanations to many glosses recently? Even if you don't know exactly what "hot yoga" is, it's apparent

It doesn't seem to specifically need to be incurable (which is the current entry). Also the part where all definitions say that it's due to having done bad things in a previous life is completely missing in the current definition (maybe put it in brackets). You may contract this definition but I fail to see how a single English word could do that.

I don't think スコッチテープ is used as a generic term in Japan. The sites linked above compare the use of "Scotch tape" in the US to the use of セロテープ in Japan.
