Certainly looks like an old typo. The question is: is it really needed? It's just シャキッと + しろ (imperative of する.)

I guess so. We split なのです and なのだ. I'll do that now.
I like keeping the terms in the indices complete as it helps identify modifications to the sentences themselves. Around 50-70 sentences get changed each week and I have software that tracks and identifies the changes. The completeness of the indices is central to this.

I still think it'd be better off split. Do these two really need to be linked to hundreds of example sentences? Shouldn't a few each be
enough?

still not really sure what this refers to. for the other 枝垂れ/weeping entries, at
least a scientific name could be applied. is this a species of tree or just a cedar
that happens to droop? or is '鍬江の枝垂杉' just the name of a particular tree?

It appears to be a (legally questionable) service that is aimed at people who have an immediate need for cash. No coercion involved.
According to the explanation on the site linked above, the purchases are made at legitimate retailers, and then the 買取屋 buys those purchases at a reduced price so that he can then sell them at a higher price and hence make a profit.

i don't get it. the gloss makes it sound like a voluntary transaction. i buy a PS5 for $2000, then sell it back to the merchant for $1200. i get $1200 cash in hand for the cost of $2000 (+interest), and the other person gets $800 (and gets to keep the PS5). that's not "exploitative"; it's a voluntary transaction between two individuals. sure i paid $2000 for my $1200 in hand, but that's also how a loan works (except with the $800 spread out over the future instead of paid in one lump sum in the present).

OTOH, the KOD definition says that individuals are "FORCED" to make these purchases. in which case it *wouldn't* be voluntary and it *could* be exploitative. but i don't understand how individuals would be *forced* to make purchases

I agree this might not be all that well-established, but it's still sees 1:3 of the usage of more obvious and literal expressions meaning
the same thing. Compare "turtle runner" and "slow runner" in the English (2019) corpus on Google Books ngrams and you'll find that "turtle
runner" doesn't even appear in the graph: "Ngrams not found". This means the "slow runner":"turtle runner" ratio in English is at most
1:600, but as it doesn't appear any single year, it's likely much much more skewed towards "slow runner".
Still, it's not the fact that the expression is NEVER used in English, I found this for example on twitter:
https://twitter.com/DanielleONeil_/status/1324518213468770305
"Coming from a turtle runner - that pace is amazing!!" Nov 6, 2020
↑ this English usage does look like it might a "on-the-fly creation" but I think the relative frequency of the construction in Japanese is
evidence it is at least something of an established expression. I don't think mere coincidence can account for a 1:3 vs >1:600
discrepancy.
3. A* 2021-06-03 00:37:25  Robin Scott <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
Is this an established term or more of an on-the-fly creation? The low number of hits on Google and Twitter suggests to me that it's the latter, and is therefore not needed as an entry. I can imagine someone saying "亀ランナー" without ever having heard it before.

Probably useful given it's common. (It's really どこへ + やら, both of which are entries.)
