I've drafted an entry for 躍らす. I just want to draw attention to the example in 中辞典.  It is a bit of a distance from "manipulate" and in fact is close to examples that the other JEs use for 躍らす.

I guess that one could put "なま," as a prefix, in front of so many things. However, the combination with salmon does seem a natural combination. There are nearly 60k Google hits for the general search and nearly 40k Google images. The Google images seems to show cooked fish so I did not include the expression "raw" above.
Perhaps, you would consider promotion. The novice would appreciate it.

JB: I see pictures of raw salmon as well. GG5 has "unsalted salmon" too. I'll extend it to take in those.
