Comments: | Looks like it is an adjective. It's the last ref I found after writing this novel of examples, but longman's literally uses it to explain the term "fricking" to Japanese readers(1st ref). Frieren(mainstream modern anime): でも不思議なものだ。暴力で解決するしかなくなったこのくそったれな現状が私はたまらなく楽しいと思っている "It's strange though. Now that violence has become the only way to resolve this mess, I'm overjoyed" くそったれな現状 = "this mess" Whatever expletive this character used, it would not have been a childish one, and the translator dropped it entirely. The thing is, I don't think as an expletive this is as "strong" as "fucking" is in English. But at the same time, the specific collocations don't lend themselves to more minor expletives. "my damned family" "this damned world" "my damned life", while possible, seem unnatural to me by comparison. If I google "くそったれな" with "fucking" I get a lot more than I do than with any other term I can think of. I don't think "rotten", which was floated years ago, would really be strong enough. "fucking" seems well-supported to me |

Comments: | 日米豪印 on its own is a noun, but the "Quad" (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) is 日米豪印戦略対話. I don't think we need 日米豪印 as a noun entry. This should be updated once the [group] name type is added. |

Comments: | Was this intended for jmnedict? Because we don't usually use [n] here, do we? |
