Comments: | Not in any major references. I suspect the つばめむぎ is a rather colloquial misreading. if it's needed, and I'm not sure it is, best to have it as a separate entry, as with カラス麦. |

Comments: | Merging 燕麦/えんばく and 烏麦/からすむぎ is rather messy. Rene proposed a split in 2007, then backed off because Progressive overlapped them a bit. I think the time has come to follow the major references and have two entries. I'll set them up, approve them so I can lock in some xrefs, then reopen. I suspect the えんぱく count is from things like 鉛白/延泊. |

Comments: | I think it's essentially a new kanwa meaning that has developed out of 射精. Not really a suffix. 顔射 and 挟射 use 音読み for the first characters. |
|
5. | A* 2021-04-13 10:23:08 Marcus Richert <...address hidden...>
Comments: | I don't think this is "standard use" of 射 with the "shooting" meaning - rather an abbr of 射出/射精. |
|
4. | A* 2021-04-13 02:30:48 Jim Breen <...address hidden...>
Comments: | It's not really a suffix. It's standard compound formation using 射 with its "shooting" meaning and the 音読み of しゃ. As in 応射, 騎射, 曲射, 試射, etc. |
