It seems they are. The above mention things such as availability, uptime, purity, precision, accuracy

Should those be mentioned in a note? or just leave it at "nnnn nines (i.e. 99.9..9%)"?

Are these "nines" in Japanese not used in the availability sense they are used in English? This is a very common term in computing.

this is the j-j for the word: はっきりとは見えないが、漠然と感じられるようす
I am understanding that as "vaguely perceived state of things that is not "plainly visible" / "readily apparent"

so if my understanding is correct, "something sensed" and "feel" should match 気配 as well, I think
the sentence だれかがいる気配がする,I understand it as "I feel someone's here"
also the 研究社 新和英中辞典 has this sentence: 人の来る気配がした translated as "I sensed someone approaching"

  Comments:
Like many other time-related entries, this was tagged as n-adv to indicate that it can be used without a particle, as in "次の日、 ...", "ある日、...", etc. [n-adv] has since been converted to [n,adv] but I don't think it's correct to label words like this as adverbs. We should probably go through the former n-adv entries to clean up the PoS tags at some point.

Revisiting this, I still think "speaker (of a language)" and "person who speaks (or tells a story)" should be separate senses, for

https://oshiete.goo.ne.jp/qa/1144271.html

I agree that ていうか shouldn't be on its own. But if we're adding kanji, I think we need a separate entry for the って forms so as not to break the 2/3 rule.
I believe there's only one sense.

  Comments:
Re these terms:
- clearly てゆうか, て言うか and って言うか need to be added somewhere. They could go here where we already have the related ってゆうか and てゆーか
- should we split those starting with っ into their own entry (just asking - I don't have a problem with them here.)
- I really can't see why ていうか should be on its own, with てゆーか and (potentially) てゆうか and て言うか here.
One sense or two? I think Robin is saying just one.

Also worth noting "BM" doesn't mean "bowel movements" in Japanese which might be the main meaning in US English 😂

I'm trying to avoid the situation with some dictionary clients, such as WWWJDIC, which will show partial matches. If you look up BM you'll be offered the entries for BMD, BMX, etc. but not necessarily the BMW one in the names dictionary.
It's not a big deal, but I like being helpful to the users.
