We currently have とわ as a reading in the 永久 entry, along with えいきゅう. Perhaps 永遠 can be added there as [sK]?. I don't think a distinct 永遠/とわ entry is needed.
Alternatively we could have a 永久/永遠/とわ entry, but even then 永遠 would probably be [rK] or [sK].

How about using words just for sense 2 (for one to ten)?
"four days", etc. looks better to me but days of the month are typically written using numbers (i.e. "4th March"/"March 4th" is more common than "fourth of March"/"March fourth").

not just recent usage.
the word 健兵 is also interesting, can't find any explanation of it. "healthy soldier" I guess?

ational/tokyo-district-court-holds-first-

Tokyo District Court holds first hearing on
expats' right to vote on Supreme Court
justices
Five Japanese living abroad claimed at the
Tokyo District Court on Monday that their
inability to participate in national reviews
of Supreme Court justices was
unconstitutional.

koj
国民が直接に法律の制定や公務員の任命などを審査する制度。
日本では最高裁判所の裁判官に対して行われ、有効投票の過半
数により罷免を可とされた裁判官が罷免される。衆議院議員の
総選挙の際に同時に行われる。
daijr
... 日本では最高裁判所の裁判官に対して...
daijs just has it as 最高裁判所裁判官の適・不適を国
民が審査すること。 (i.e. no mention of other
legal matters)
nikk also: 最高裁判所の裁判官が適任であるかどうかを、
国民が投票によって審査すること。
  Comments:
The word "national review" doesn't appear to
be used for this kind of referendum outside
Japan so I think it's ok to just describe what
this means in the context of Japan, as nikk
and daijs do. (by not mentioning "other legal
matters")

It's a little wordy but I don't think it's
"encyclopedic", it's still denser and has less
info than any of the kokugo entries. It can
maybe be shortened a little but I think we
shouldn't trim out any of this information

It was the success of K-pop and K-dramas that
initially fuelled the rise of international
interest in South Korean pop culture, a
phenomenon that is now so widespread that it
has not one but two names that have just
entered the OED: hallyu and Korean wave, both
first seen in 2001. Hallyu, a borrowing from
Korean, also means ‘Korean wave’ when
literally translated, and it is now also being
used in English to refer to South Korean pop
culture and entertainment itself, not just its
increasing popularity.

OK, I'm axing this, and I've raised Robin's suggestion as an issue.
5. A* 2021-10-23 16:12:01  Robin Scott <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
I think we should ignore this entirely. If we record it as "Sammatīya", it's only going to confuse people who encounter (and look up) the 三密 typo. If we include it as an iK form of 三密, we're no longer using the tag consistently.
三蜜 is not "irregular" in the sense that most people understand the term. Also, there are far more common misspellings that we would never include in jmdict, so I don't think "guiding users to the right word" takes precedence over all else.
I'm not opposed to redirecting users from 三蜜 to 三密; I just don't think 三蜜 should be displayed or described as an irregular form. To aid searches, maybe we should consider adding hidden kanji and readings fields to jmdict. That would put an end to a lot of the arguments over whether to include particularly quirky or obscure forms. We could stick common typos in there as well.
4. A* 2021-10-23 05:54:22  Marcus Richert <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
even googling "三蜜" 仏教, at least 90% of the results seem to be about 三密. I'm not opposed to having this as an entry if it is
indeed correct, but I'd prefer not to have to lean on a single source, and looking at the search results, I'm just re-convinced
that we should really be including 三蜜 as an iK in the 三密 entry. I don't think it's really relevant whether a Japanese native
speaker would notice it was the wrong kanji if they looked at it closely, it's about guiding our users to the right word. In the
absolute majority of cases somebody is using the word "三蜜", it's just a typo for 三密. That entry should be among the results
shown for a query of that word.

But it's a type of game, not a named entity. I don't think it belongs in the names dictionary. Not sure it's needed in jmdict either, but if that's the case it should be deleted.

"中国で急激に人気が高まる「マーダーミステリー」って何?"
  Comments:
Party games aren't products. If we want this, it should go in jmdict. But the above article (published today) suggests that murder mystery games aren't particularly common in Japan.
