Comments: | I don't like comments etc. that reference a previous sense, i.e. "(in other languages)" is a reference to sense 1's "(in Japanese)". It's probably not needed at all, but if it should stay, I think it should be (in other languages than Japanese)" |

Comments: | Then the [expl] is no longer necessary. The [see] can be omitted too, since we face a choice between 補助動詞 ("auxiliary verb (in Japanese)") and 付属語 ("dependent word"). I wonder if sense 1 can be just "bound auxiliary (in Japanese)". Some 助動詞 like ます and た are words in traditional Japanese grammar but suffixes to westerners, so it's better to sidestep the issue. |

Comments: | Adding notes with the intent of further clarifying function. Changing both senses to v2a-s. Addressing the points in 2020-09-01 20:16:58, This is considered by every Japanese source I have looked at as the only remaining 二段 verb in modern Japanese and it does conjugate, even if the only provable instances of conjugation are the identical 連体形 and 終止形, both forms are still formally distinguished by 国語 grammars by their use much like english tells apart past 'read' from non-past 'read' by pronunciation. Non-provable instances of conjugation would be 未然形 and 連用形 as they would be completely indiscernible from える. Finally, there is the provable case of the 仮定形, but it is almost never used: ありうれば returns measly 33 results from the N-gram and a google search only 407 - though you will see that it is indeed the 仮定形 if you stop to read some of phrases found by google. |

Comments: | Seems OK. Re-ordering the glosses a little. Not sure about sense 1. |

Comments: | Per feedback received in https://japanese.meta.stackexchange.com/a/2149, this is a recent coinage (few examples in public domain words prior to 1960) but common today (half-million Google hits for the literal string). It is present in Super Daijirin (macOS Japanese dictionary). Please bear with me since this is my first submission. Most welcome to corrections and feedback. |

Comments: | It probably shouldn't be in the names dictionary as it's more a historical thing - an empire name, but we get ムガール皇帝, ムガール星人, etc. too. It's probably better in the main dictionary, as per GG5. |
