Comments: | I'd like to propose re-adding 拐う. It's obscure, but it does see use. I've listed some references where 拐う is read さらう (and definitely not read かどう, which is archaic). Some of these refs have no furigana, which suggests that a native speaker could infer the reading, so I think having 拐う in here is valuable. |

The point of it as I see it is to tell learners they're very unlikely to ever come across that form and don't need to bother learning it. Or to tell a learner's di tionary app to hide it entirely. Or how congratulatory messages sent between heads of state are still referred to as "祝電" (congratulatory telegram) in Japanese news. I don't think the original meaning should be marked as obscure so having two senses might be better after all. |

Comments: | I agree with Nicolas, it doesn't make sense that a "reverse X" has the exact same meaning as "X" itself. But looking at google images, it's like Jim said mostly picture two women and one man, or three women, not at all as described in Nicolas sources and the one above. This makes me think this word isn't really well-defined and maybe thrown around like 逆レイプ (woman-on-man rape i.e. to mean it's the women who are the initiators) sometimes and other times referring to 3 women... as such, I don't think it should be an entry. |
