Comments: | I'd like to propose re-adding 拐う. It's obscure, but it does see use. I've listed some references where 拐う is read さらう (and definitely not read かどう, which is archaic). Some of these refs have no furigana, which suggests that a native speaker could infer the reading, so I think having 拐う in here is valuable. |

Comments: | I think it's similar to how messages sent between embassies and their parent country are called "cables" in English even though they're not actually telegrams (or cablegrams). Or how congratulatory messages sent between heads of state are still referred to as "祝電" (congratulatory telegram) in Japanese news.
