Possibly. Inflected forms of ひもじい思いをする make up about 2/3 of the usage. The JEs all lead with it. A note may be enough; does anyone think an additional entry is needed?

"limited express (train making reduced no. of stops, may require additional ticket)"?
3. A* 2020-06-25 13:32:16  Marcus Richert <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
Kintetsu and Hankyu are just two Kansai-based examples though, there's many more train companies that operate 特急 trains:
https://trafficnews.jp/post/80201
"大手私鉄16社の場合、特急券がいらない特急列車を運転しているのは、関東が京成電鉄、京王電鉄、東急電鉄、京急電鉄、相鉄の5社。関西は関西は南海電鉄、京阪電
鉄、阪急電鉄、阪神電鉄の4社です。このほか、東海地方の名鉄と九州の西鉄も、特急券不要の特急列車を運転しています。"

so the second sense applies to Keisei (with the exception of their "Skyliner" train), Keiou, Tokyu, Keikyu, Sotetsu, Nankai, Keihan,
Hankyu, Hanshin, Meitetsu and Nishitetsu, but I don't think this is an exhaustive list.

Given that there's no hard-and-fast rule for determining when to use ありがとうございました over ありがとうございます, I think we should keep the note simple.
Whatever we go with, it won't be entirely correct because ありがとうございました is used in various set expressions and situations where (logically) you'd expect ありがとうございます.

I'm sure it can be found in other places, but it's a pretty obscure term and it's a mess of search results due to the composite parts of the word.
  Comments:
For specific examples of this type of music, Polovtsian Dances is the big one, with the Scheherazade movement 4 also counting.

I've never had issues when double-checking things with this dictionary, but it was a jolt of a surprise to do a double-check on a musical term just to get bombarded with lesbian derogative terms.

I'm also not sure on proper formatting as I've never done submissions here, nor will I be comfortable enough to on a regular basis. I'm just a music major. So feel free to edit this however you need
or even just delete it and do a new submission that's actually done right by your dictionary standards. My only concern was that a musical term got redirected into Absolutely Not Music, and thus to
add the missing term.

Thank you for the example sentences!
I think there is a slight nuance difference between 発音区別符号 (syn. ダイアクリティカルマーク) and 発音記号; the former translates as diacritical mark
and the latter as phonetic symbol, where (I think) the former is a subtype of the latter.
