Comments: | I was trying to bring this pair (戦略、早々) in line with the other correspondence pair (拝啓、敬具) which are currently and I think beneficially linked. So if it’s not an improvement for the brief letter, why is it an improvement that adds value for the formal letter? As in the case of 拝啓 & 敬具, 前略 & 早々 are always paired in an appropriately but quickly written letter. |

Comments: | This came about because the sentence had already been indexed (to 効率 and 性) before this entry was entered in 2007. I have changed the indexing, so after the next download/install (early next week) the sentence in question will be indexed to this entry. If you go to https://www.edrdg.org/cgi-bin/wwwjdic/wwwjdic?10 and paste in the sentence you'll be able to inspect the indexing. You'll need to use the Customeize page to turn on the display of the indexing - it's down the bottom of that page. WWWJDIC shows the index file it is using, but if you click on [Annot] you'll see it as it is in Tatoeba. |
|
2. | A* 2020-11-07 16:19:01 Jim Rose <...address hidden...> | |
Comments: | Just a question. This word doesn’t display an example sentence, but in Tatoeba there is: 仕事場の管理者は、正確さ、効率性、献身を期待する。 Office managers expect accuracy, efficiency, and dedication. Does that mean the linking of example sentences is always manual? Does that imply suggesting example sentences is an appropriate function for this box? |
