This entry is becoming quite unwieldy.
I think we can merge senses 4 and 5. The "opinion" glosses are somewhat awkward, in my view. Also, I'm not sure that usage is ever adjectival. Might be better to drop "esp."
I don't think sense 3 should be moved to a separate 的な entry as we'd have to copy over senses 1 and 2 as well.

I did get this word from daijs rather than in the wild. THat said I do find some references to it in Japanese:

"さらにそこから「ジャッピー(ヤッピーの日本版)」といった語が派生した例もある"
https://www.kwansei.ac.jp/s_sociology/attached/5054_42926_ref.pdf

"ジャッピー―きみは大人になれるか (MEN’S CLUB BOOKS No. 55)" (the picture shows the cover also adorned with the words "Juppie = Japan
+ Yuppie")

The first example is a reference to the book on amazon though, so it's pretty sparse. So I agree this is fine in JMDICT. It
doesn't seem to be a company, though. Just a brand of 因幡電機産業.

I was able to find some references to the word "Juppie" in English-language books, showing it wasn't coined in Japan. But I can't find a single Japanese example. Nothing at all. Even "ジャッピー ヤッピー" doesn't return anything (expect a couple of mentions where it's described as an English word).
In the 知恵袋 link above, someone asks about the word's meaning after hearing an American say it and the people responding assume it's a slur.
It doesn't appear to be a Japanese word. Daijs is the only kokugo that has it. It's not even mentioned in the ヤッピー Wikipedia article.
I don't think we should have it as an entry.
