that is not the purpose of the aux-adj tag. the aux-adj tag refers to 助動詞 that conjugate like adjectives (e.g., らしい). this is simply a suffix. see らしい for an entry that distinguishes between the two

consistency the others should be aligned.
9. A* 2019-09-21 22:04:03  Robin Scott <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
I just noticed that にくい, づらい and がたい are suffixes in the kokugos so I suppose suf is correct. But I don't know why the suffix sense of やすい is "形".
8. A* 2019-09-21 21:34:19  Robin Scott <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
I agree it's not an auxiliary adjective (補助形容詞) but I'm not sure I'd call it a suffix either. It's just a regular sense in the kokugos (with "動詞の連用形の下に付く" at the start of the definition). I'd be in favour of creating a new PoS. It would be useful for search purposes.

  Comments:
but if there's no standard to begin with
then "alternative" by itself means
nothing. you have to specify what they are
an alternative to and that's hard to do in
a pithy way if you're set on using the
word "alternative". I think "non-standard"
works better and means the same thing. I
don't think the fact 大字 are used in
certain legal/financial things means
they're "just as standard" as the regular
一、ニ、三 (they just aren't). I also don't
understand why you removed
(historical/legal)? Wasn't that a helpful
addition? Maybe "financial" would be
better than "legal", unsure, but I think
it helps to explain in which contexts
these characters are used. Otherwise it's
unclear to which characters exactly are
being referred to. With the current
definition you might assume 逸 is a 大字
too, but it isn't (and it's not used in
legal contexts).

The use of "standard" implies some sort of official status, which is not the case. In fact
大字 numerals are mostly used in financial contexts, where there is nothing "non-standard"
about them. Returning to the former version.

Isn't "alternative" pretty much the same
thing as "non-standard"? by calling them
"non-standard" I'm saying that 一、二、三…
are the standard number characters.

the definition a little.

I did get this word from daijs rather than in the wild. THat said I do find some references to it in Japanese:

"さらにそこから「ジャッピー(ヤッピーの日本版)」といった語が派生した例もある"
https://www.kwansei.ac.jp/s_sociology/attached/5054_42926_ref.pdf

"ジャッピー―きみは大人になれるか (MEN’S CLUB BOOKS No. 55)" (the picture shows the cover also adorned with the words "Juppie = Japan
+ Yuppie")
https://www.amazon.co.jp/ジャッピー―きみは大人
%AB%E3%81%AA%E3%82%8C%E3%82%8B%E3%81%8B-MEN%E2%80%99S-CLUB-BOOKS-No/dp/4573300554

The first example is a reference to the book on amazon though, so it's pretty sparse. So I agree this is fine in JMDICT. It
doesn't seem to be a company, though. Just a brand of 因幡電機産業.

Then there's the ngram count. WWW images are almost all cute yellow toys with big ears, or
electrical connectors or tape.
It seems to be a product and a company. I think this can be pushed to the name dictionary.

"「ジャッピー」って、アメリカ人が普通に使っている差別用語みたいですか(苦笑)、"JUPPIE = JAPAN + YUPPIE"で、「日本版ヤッピー」を表わす造語だそうです。"
  Comments:
I was able to find some references to the word "Juppie" in English-language books, showing it wasn't coined in Japan. But I can't find a single Japanese example. Nothing at all. Even "ジャッピー ヤッピー" doesn't return anything (expect a couple of mentions where it's described as an English word).
In the 知恵袋 link above, someone asks about the word's meaning after hearing an American say it and the people responding assume it's a slur.
It doesn't appear to be a Japanese word. Daijs is the only kokugo that has it. It's not even mentioned in the ヤッピー Wikipedia article.
I don't think we should have it as an entry.

Not sure it's wasei as such.
I'm having trouble finding it used in that sense, but I'm prepared to go with Daijisen and RP.
