Comments: | As an Australian the English term is very familiar to me. Here it used to mean people from Vietnam, but now it applies to many people including Sri Lankans, Rohingya, etc. AFAICT the Japanese term is specific to the Indo-Chinese context. |

Comments: | First, I'm reinstating フル・ボッコ. I will not accept anonymous additions or deletions which have no supporting case or references. I did wonder about it as it gets 0 n-gram counts, but I noticed a number of WWW hits for that form so I did not challenge it. I guess it's OK to have the entry without etymology information. I see "Full Bokko" gets a lot of hits as "Full Booko Heroes" and "Full Booko Youcien" are games. |
