Only in very specific circumstances could it be translated as "if ever", etc. I did a Google news search for "あるとしても", and I couldn't find any results in the first few pages where the above glosses would fit. I can see how "if ever/if at all" would be useful to have in an EJ dictionary, but あるとしても is much more obvious. I don't think it's needed here. |
