The google results for 海賊のドクロ and "pirate skull" are pretty much identical, so I'd say the meaning is actually fairly obvious. 
Either way, with not only 300 hits in the ngrams and not in any source, I doubt it's an established term to the degree you could say

At least in northern Italy, "aperitivo" commonly refers to a pre-dinner light meal (sometimes a buffet) enjoyed with a drink, and 
that's any kind of drink really, including beer. If you look through the Google results for "アペリティーヴォ", it's not really used

Found in Konpeki no Kantai, volume 1, page 98.  Furigana were present there.  This probably needs merging with one of the other similar definitions.
