Is this also [suf] (or n-suf)? I just came across the word 仕事替え, which doesn't seem to be a common word (230 g

productive suffix.

"The six continents" isn't a common phrase where I'm from, so probably useful to clarify this entry too.

Daijr/s use "Australia" in the definition for 五大州 but "Oceania" in their definition for 六大州. I wonder if we
should keep that distinction or just make our definitions consistent.

Its important to point out this doesn't refer to any rainy period but specifically the one that happens in the summer in East Asia. This is a mistake early learners often make, calling other rainy seasons in other countries 梅雨 (instead of the general term 雨季 )

  Comments:
I am resubmitting this because of the abnormal part of speech.
In today's Japanese you cannot attach the particle の to a verb in "te form"
All cases of this happening are "fossilized expressions"
Therefore, this must too be a fossilized expression.
I think it should be noted that the verb 生まれつく has this special use.

九仏頂), with eight encircling Dai Butchō 大仏頂 or Shōissai Butchō 摂一切仏頂. The term Butchō, Butcho, or Butchōson 仏頂尊 literally
means "Buddha Crown." It refers to a class of Esoteric deities who personify the bump of knowledge (Skt. = Usnisa) atop the Buddha’s
head; the Butchō embody the power of the light emitted from that bump; they often appear as Bodhisattva, and can assume male or female
form; in Japan, the Butchō are associated especially with rites for the dead, for their powers include purifying evil karma and
liberating people from hell. There are different groupings of three, five, eight, nine, and ten Butchō; they sometimes appear in the
Shaka-in 釈迦院 section of the Taizōkai Mandala and in the Sonshō Mandala."

It seems the yarn itself is 引き揃え糸 whereas 引き揃え is the technique of using 引き揃え糸 in yarn crafts. The references specify 2+ strands of yarn, and while "double stranded knitting" and "knitting with yarn held double" are real terms, "multi stranded knitting" isn't really used. Googling "multi stranded knitting" returns results for simply stranded knitting, which is a separate technique altogether.

Also given as "ビキ” here:
http://puzzlehouse.travel.coocan.jp/PH/kg109/k
g109.html
and as "びーき" in 新言海 (1959, on google
books)
and there's also a "collected works of
Miyatake Gaikotsu" book on google which gives
its as "びき" and suggests "引" as an
alternative kanji.
jpwiki's hanafuda article also has "ビキ
札を合わせる段階で3番目の人。古くは「大引(おおびき)」
と言った。"
The only connection I can find online between
びけ and 尾季 is this snippet on google books:
"おーびけ C大引]骨牌手合の最終の人にて「尾季」" (隠語
辞典集成, 1996)
おーびけ C大引]骨牌手合の最終の人にて「尾季」
Maybe 尾季/びき should be a separate entry?

(I know George through our common interest in
hanafuda and suggested to him to add words
that aren't already in the dictionary)

"あげちん男性の特徴10選。女性の運気を上げる彼氏になる方法とは?"

https://noel-media.jp/news/606
