They're all called puzzle games here.
Puzzle games are much more popular in Japan so it makes sense to invent new terminology.

I looked at gameplay samples of the titles listed on Wikipedia and they all looked like what we call puzzle games.

Thanks for catching that. I asked a native speaker to pronounce it for me, and she indeed pronounced it as Shimo-usa.

It looks like JR East uses the macron in its romanization though (see linked article). Is it more important for us to be consistent with the official name or to be consistent with our romanization scheme?
