Comments: | I think it'd be better to have "county; department; province" - actual glosses, instead of an explanatory translation. I don't think the fact there's an overlap in the English glosses with 州 is a problem. From an ei-wa perspective, perhaps, but I don't know that the current gloss really does anything to clear things up. I don't think we should have an xref to しゅう. |
|
6. | A* 2019-07-17 04:37:19 Jim Breen <...address hidden...> | |

Comments: | The ん can also be followed by か (I get 6000 googits for "逃げるんかよ" for example) but this might be colloquial/not hyojungo. In ksb (and possibly other western dialects) it can even be used without anything following it, e.g. 逃げるん? https://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q11143987361 Q: "〜するん?〜へ行くん?〜やるん?などは方言ですか" A: "バリバリ関西系の方言です。 「の→ん」になっていますね。" |
