"Crazy! / Insane!
「やばい!(おかしい / 狂った)」

物事に対しては、「変な」「まともじゃない」といったニュアンス。

物事だけでなく、人に対しても使えます。言動がおかしかったり、怪しかったり、気味が悪い、狂っている、そんな状態の人に対して使います。

・That man is crazy.「あの男やばいよ。(頭がおかしい)」
・She is insane.「彼女マジでやばいよ。(正気じゃない)」"

I understand what you are saying, but there are other ways of thinking about this.
I prefer to view やばい, ヤバい and ヤバイ as the same word.
Thus I view やばかない as an inflected form of ヤバイ.
I think you are attaching too much importance to the hiragana/katakana difference.
9. A 2016-09-13 23:50:54  Jim Breen <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
The point is that ヤバイ usually won't inflect. Having said that, I see ヤバクナイ gets 559 in the n-grams, and while ヤバクナカッタ doesn't score there, it can be seen in 2ch posts and Tweets.

I don't think it should be mixed up with Florida, which is the point of this entry, so I'm breaking it off into its own entry. I've added ephemeral to the comments so such terms can be searched for later.

sense 1
"クソほどびちょ濡れした…雨やばすぎる〜"
X "I got a shitload wet"
"天気クソほど悪いけど、アロハシャツ解禁しました。"
X "Weather is a shitload bad"
"問題点:クソほどだせぇしキモい"
X "The problem: (he?) is a shitload geeky and revolting

sense 2
"二人の会話にクソほど笑ってる"
X "I laugh extremely at their conversation"
"アチーブメントにクソほど笑わされましたがw"
X "The achievement made me laugh extremely"
"ポイントならクソほどあるから買った!!!!!"
X "If we're talking points I have extremely so I bought it!"

but I don't know.
