Comments: | But I think the most common usage that would be translated "to turn on" is 洗濯機を回す. You'd never (well, not normally) say "I'm gonna turn/rotate/spin/twist/gyrate the washing machine" in English. If I'm looking for the meaning of 回す in a case like that, I might very well skim past it. I do think it should be its own sense. I suggest giving it number 5, after "to turn (to a new use)" and before "to put (someone in a position)" |

Comments: | Sorry, I think I must have misread 過程. I googled to see if it might actually be used that way (despite of what's in daij) because I think I might have seen it used as such but it instead turns out it most commonly seems to refer to a multi-course dessert menu. I say "most commonly" but that's actually the only usage I found (though I didn't search that extensively), so I think it should come first. |

Comments: | Nothing in the ngrams, no non-bot hits on twitter (and only 5 bot tweets, all from the same bot account). Some googits but I'd want to see stronger evidence of this actually being used by Japanese people before including it. Please also note that hiragana/katakana should go into the reading(s) field, not the kanji field. Thanks. |
