(year of the Dragon).  But exploring Google it seems like 辰の年 is always 
pronounced たつのとし and  竜の年 and 龍の年 are always pronounced りゅうのと
し.  Not sure how to handle that as one single entry.

My thinking was/is that "すごいことになる" is very common and not easily explained as the sum of its parts, at least not with our
