I agree that the meaning is pretty much the same as sense 4, but the examples Marcus gave, and which I've encountered often, are not really adverbs or "before a verb in negative form". I feel trying to fit this particular usage into sense 4 would lead to an odd POS and clashing glosses.

I've looked at this several times over the last week. I think:
(a) making it into a "to ..." translation is not appropriate as, like the note says, it's prenominal and in the negative;
(b) I'm not sure it's really a different sense from sense 4. The JEs (e.g. 中辞典 in 動かぬ証拠) are treating it as examples of the change/vary sense.
I'll put it back the way it was, but we should probably consider dropping the sense and perhaps having an entry for 動かぬ.

Also about the adj-no, I feel we're moving towards not including that as a seconday PoS just based on example sentences in eij and gg5 and
only use it either when the usage of a word is predominantly adjectival (or it's too hard to gloss as a noun), e.g. [adj-no,n] but not
[n,adj-no], or, if it's not obvious from the noun gloss, move it to it's own [adj-no] only sense. In this case, I think dropping it seems
the most appropriate.

Changed [aux] into [aux-v], edited notes to clarify word origin and to correct the following point: ませ does not attach to the imperative of another verb, it attaches to the 連用形 just as ます does: なさいます→なさいませ; なさい, いらっしゃい、etc being used as Imperatives without ませ is due to its omission: those verbs were not originally Imperatives themselves and became what they are due to ませ's subtraction.
