Comments: | I think ksb is plain wrong, can't recall ever hearing anybody use it in Kansai where I've now spent more than a decade of my life. I've only heard it in anime and dubs for "stereotypical old person talk". Also one or both of the comedians in the duo 千鳥, who both hail from Okayama, use it. Same note could (should?) go on じゃろう |

Comments: | Interesting. I thought the term was reserved for groups produced by a Japanese (or Korean) talent agency. I was going to say that a boy band like One Direction would never be described as an アイルドグループ but I see that they often are (although they'd usually be called a ボーイズグループ). One difference is that "アイドルグループ" doesn't include pop-rock boy bands that play instruments (e.g. the early-2000s UK band "Busted") but explaining that here is probably too much for a dictionary entry. |

Comments: | Perhaps it would be better to drop sense 1 and instead create a "暗々のうちに" entry with the sense 1 glosses. As far as I can tell, sense 1 is *always* 暗々のうち(に) or 暗々裏 (and we have a 暗々裏 entry). Some of the kokugos take a similar approach. |
