Comments: | This term has been in the news a lot recently. It appears that a キックバック is not necessarily illegal or illicit. Some politicians are in hot water over them, but their problem is that they didn't declare they'd received them. Subtle point, but it's probably best to drop that from the entry. |

Comments: | I'd like to suggest splitting the senses according to the uses of に, so that each sense has a different meaning. "Anyone" can appear in positive sentences so I don't think a positive/negative split is the way to go. For this proposed split to work, we'd need example sentences indexed for each sense, but I think this approach is ultimately clearer. I should note that even with this split, a single sense may contain multiple meanings of に. |

Comments: | You guys, not me, are the ones making a dictionary and it's in your interest, not necessarily mine, that the dictionary is as complete as possible. The way I see it, I'm doing you a favor by letting you know that hey, this one common word is missing, you might want to include it. Being met with a hostile sourpuss attitude because I didn't hand it to you on a silver plate is simply unbecoming, especially when it would have taken you 5 seconds of effort to realize it's included in other major dictionaries. Apparently you (Rene) thought that time (and then some) was wiser spent on "schooling" me. I get that this is a volunteer effort for you too, but if doing even the minimal amount of work needed to confirm a simple entry suggestion like this is a bother, then maybe you should ask yourself why you've decided to take up lexicography as a hobby in the first place. |
