I still don't think we should add it. You can put pretty much anything in front of 派. A great number of [noun]派 terms will be puzzling if you're not familiar with this use of 派.
I don't think there's anything special about this particular combination.

I've tweaked it a bit. I proposed a split for 派 a few days back. I think the first sense 
(clique/group/coterie) is the one, but I still think some people would find it puzzling.

I think this could be confusing. If someone describes themselves as 和式派, it means they prefer the Japanese version of some particular thing (almost always toilets), not Japanese things in general.
I think expanding the 派 entry would be a better idea. At the moment we have only sense and it doesn't really capture this usage.
