Comments: | As you wish then. But it is still a way to say "welcome". It is not nonexistent either. There are 40 or more examples on the yourei page. A few are even Shakespeare translations. And 7 on the ejje page. The page says some dictionaries have it (研究社 新和英中辞典 and 斎藤和英大辞典). I have myself seen it a few times too. I just think it is used in situations where irasshai, irasshaimase, youkoso are not. But that is just a guess, to tell the truth. |
