A cyborg is an organism, like we humans, that was modified with artificial parts. It belongs to the macro-category of jinzouningen, as well as
androids/robots (completely mechanical things that resembles humans). Please, insert cyborg entry too. In the reference that I've upload, the
character talks about N° 19 and N°20 jinzouningen as cyborgs. All the jinzouningen in Dragon Ball (but not only) are different kinds of jnz: for
example, N°8 is a robot, N°17 and 18 are cyborgs, N°16 is another robot and Cell is an organism created from zero by a scientist. So, jinzouningen
is, like a said, a macro-category, that include androids, cyborgs and organisms created from zero (with science or magic; about jnz created with
magic/alchemy, see for example the introduction of Fullmetal Alchemist Live Action, on Netflix).

Artificial human is the literal meaming. Robot and cyborg are only two type of things that belongs to jinzouningen's category. For example, also a
human created with magic or alchemy (like in Fullmetal Alchemist) is a jinzouningen, an artificial human. "Artificianthrope" is a my neologism, that
derive from "ARTIFICIal" + "anthrope", human in Greek.

Thank you for taking the time to state the case for your edits, Davide. A throw-away mention in Dragonball and an unusual usage of
the word in a separate fantasy manga/anime does however not weigh heavier than the dictionaries quoted. Sci-fi/fantasy authors in
particular often imbue unorthodox meanings to already existing words as part of their world creation. Unless this usage at least
partially enters mainstream language use, it's not really our job to record that here.
Your new reference is just the previous version of this very entry (this is JMDict - check the top of the page) as it were before
Rene removed the "cyborg" gloss.

  Comments:
No, pardon me.
If something is official is not automatically correct, and this is the case: the definition of "Androids", in Dragon Ball, is limited. Many things
in the English Dragon Ball version are wrong. Indeed, as I said, jinzouningen is a big-category, in which there are robots, cyborgs and living
beings (humanoids/human-based) created or modified artificially. In Dragon Ball, N° 8 is a robot, N°16 is a robot, N°17 is a cyborg, N°18 is
another cyborg (she can even give birth), N°19 is a robot and so on: all are jinzouningen.

Are jinzouningen also the Homunculus, in Fullmetal Alchemist, beings created with "magic" (alchemy), and they are not robots, are "super humans",
in flesh and bones but with super powers. See for example the introduction of Fullmetal Alchemist Live Action on Netflix, and you will hear the two
main characters talking about artificial humams (the homunculus) as jinzouningen.

Strangely, if I search jinzouningen here on Jisho it will appear an entry with only "robot, cyborg (and Android)". Only if I click on "read more"
appear also artificial human, the main translation (but cyborg is gone).

I will not insist longer, but my advice is to insert firstly the literally meaning, artificial human, and then the variuous things that belongs to
its cateogry: robot, cyborg, etc.

Eh, this is a tricky one. References divide and order the senses differently, so I don't really know which one
to use as the standard.

About sense 8: I based it on this sense in Daijisen

> 5 時間的、空間的に間を隔てる。「一日―・いて行く」「一軒―・いた隣」

Not quite sure how to translate it.

About sense 9 and 10: djs does mention attaching おく to masu-stem, but other references only mention attaching
to te-form.

I'm not very comfortable with this edit, but I hope it can lead to a proper edit.

FWICT, there's no evidence that むにん is adj-na, so the differing PoS means that these have to be split based on the pos differences, but it's messy:
* むじん

 sense 1 only
* ぶにん
 [adj-na,n]
 both senses
* むにん

We already have "雑文家 (ざつぶんか) (n) miscellanist; miscellaneous writer". 書き as a suffix usually means "writings/drawings" or the act of producing them, so in the absence of references this proposed meaning seems doubtful.

saw it used by a native in a sentence like this: 拳大の大きさ. The reading is bound to be controversial: 学研漢和大字典 and 漢字源 say it's kendai, but the internet (search for "拳大" "こぶしだい"), as
well as my own near-native hunch wants to read it kobushidai. There's an entry for 拳大の石 (fist-sized stone) in WI2 (without the reading) but I don't think that's a special enough construct to
warrant its own entry.
